Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) has announced its seventh application results for the 2026-2027 academic year for international students. The registration process will be conducted entirely online.

Online Pre-Registration Start August 28, 2026
Online Pre-Registration End September 2, 2026
Document Submission Period August 28 – September 30, 2026
Registration will be completed through this portal: yos.mehmetakif.edu.tr
Documents Required for Registration (to be submitted by September 30, 2026)
- Acceptance letter
- Notarized Turkish translation of passport
- High school diploma/provisional certificate (original + notarized translation)
- Transcript (original + notarized translation)
- TR-YÖS exam result certificate (if applicable)
- TÖMER Turkish proficiency certificate (if applicable)
- Two 4.5x6.0 cm photographs taken within the last six months
- Financial guarantee declaration
Tuition Fees (2026-2027, First-Time Enrollees)

- Vocational Schools: $420
- Faculty of Education: $560
- Engineering/Architecture: $830
- Faculty of Dentistry: $3,000
- Turkish Music State Conservatory: $2,300

What You Need to Do After Registration
Residence Permit Application: Must be completed within 10 business days after registration.
Turkish Proficiency Requirement: Students must obtain a C1-level TÖMER certificate before starting academic courses.
Course Registration: Completed once valid proficiency documentation is provided.
Students without a valid TÖMER certificate must take a placement exam or attend preparatory Turkish language classes.
